Britain’s Prince Andrew has a different opinion from his older brother on nanotechnology. He believes that nanotechnology presents a sound business opportunity.
Prince Andrew said:
Innovation in nanotechnology holds great promise, not only for business but for transforming people’s lives. It would seem that nanotechnology’s potential is limitless.
He said these remarks at the nanoTX ‘06 conference. On the other hand his brother Prince Charles had commented that nanotechnology would turn the planet into a wasteland. He had expressed those self copying nano-robots” could spread across the Earth and for this particular statement he was criticized by the scientists.
