Nanotechnology is an upcoming field which has a wider scope and it is expected that it would significantly contribute to the medical science by helping in developing a proactive paradigm for diagnosis of the disease and it has been seen that both EU and USA have authorized medicinal products having nanoparticles.
It is expected that nanosizing would contribute to the creation of innovative products and they would extend the boundaries between medicinal products and medical devices. For this purpose necessary expertise would be required for evaluating safety, quality, efficacy and management of nanomedicinal products.
Though a lot of information exists but there are very few people who are using this information and applying it to nanomaterials. Certainly nanotechnology has a lot to contribute to the field of medical sciences.
